เมื่อวันที่ 3 พฤศจิกายน 2568 ดร.รวีวรรณ ภูริเดช ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานคณะกรรมการนโยบายที่ดินแห่งชาติ ได้มอบหมาย ดร.กลย์วัฒน์ สาขากร ผู้อำนวยการกองยุทธศาสตร์และแผนงาน เป็นประธานการประชุม

หารือด้านแผนที่กับผู้แทนกระทรวงเกษตร ประมง และป่าไม้แห่งเครือรัฐออสเตรเลีย (DAFF) นำโดย Mr. Keiran Andrusko ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายสหรัฐอเมริกา แคนาดาและยุโรป พร้อมด้วยผู้เชี่ยวชาญจาก DAFF และผู้แทนจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตออสเตรเลียประจำประเทศไทย โดยมีผู้แทนสำนักงานพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีอวกาศและภูมิสารสนเทศ (องค์การมหาชน) และ สคทช. เข้าร่วมการประชุมฯ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมรับมือผลกระทบจากกฎระเบียบว่าด้วยสินค้าปลอดการตัดไม้ทำลายป่าของสหภาพยุโรป (EU Deforestation Regulation: EUDR) ณ ห้องประชุม สคทช. 1 อาคารอารีย์ ฮิลส์

ในการประชุมครั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับความท้าทายและความก้าวหน้า

ในการเตรียมความพร้อมรองรับการปฏิบัติตาม EUDR โดยเฉพาะการจัดทำแผนที่ป่าไม้อ้างอิงของประเทศ

ซึ่งทั้ง 2 ประเทศประสบกับความท้าทายแบบเดียวกัน เนื่องจากต่างมีนิยามที่ไม่สอดคล้องกับนิยามป่าไม้ของ EUDR และปัจจุบันต่างอยู่ในกระบวนการพัฒนาเครื่องมือดิจิทัลเพื่อตรวจสอบย้อนกลับ เพื่อสนับสนุนและเพิ่มขีดความสามารถของเกษตรกรและผู้ประกอบการในการเข้าสู่ตลาดของสหภาพยุโรป

นอกจากนี้ ที่ประชุมยังได้หารือแนวทางการจัดทำความร่วมมือที่เป็นรูปธรรมระหว่าง สคทช. และ DAFF ในสาขาอื่น ๆ ที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายมีความสนใจร่วมกัน อาทิ การแลกเปลี่ยนเชิงเทคนิคการจัดทำแผนที่ EUDR และการประยุกต์ใช้เครื่องมือเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศเพื่อยกระดับการบริหารจัดการที่ดินอย่างยั่งยืน

Thailand's Office of the National Land Policy Board (ONLB) and the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) hold a bilateral meeting to discuss collaboration on EUDR-mapping

Bangkok, October 3, 2025 — Dr. Raweewan Bhuridej, Executive-Director, Office of the National Land Policy Committee (ONLB), assigned Mr. Kollawat Sahakara, Director of Strategy and Planning Division to chair a bilateral meeting on EUDR-mapping cooperation with the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF). Participation included DAFF delegates led by Mr. Keiran Andrusko, Director for US, Canada & Europe Desk, Trade and International Division, representatives from the Australian Embassy in Bangkok, the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (Public Organization), and the ONLB.

The meeting was highly productive, with both sides holding an in-depth discussion and exchanging information regarding their respective preparations in response to the EUDR. Discussions focused, in particular, on EUDR forest mapping and the key implementation challenges each country has faced.

The discussion served as a significant starting point for both the ONLB and DAFF to explore future collaboration on EUDR mapping and other potential cooperation areas of mutual interest, such as sustainable land management.
